Tis' the night of Halloween

August 2006 we moved to Arizona. It was hot. But it was summer and I expected hot. Halloween night that year as we were walking around and I was thinking it was the best Halloween yet, I realised that Halloween had always been a cold holiday for me and here I was passing tinker bells without coats on and that is when confirmation took place. Arizona was the place for me. Summers are warm but there is no place I would rather be come October 1st...Well except for Hawaii's north shore maybe.

We just celebrated our 3rd Halloween here and once again it was such a fun, exciting night for so many reasons. Including the weather.

Our neighbors have a fun block party and then all the kids and parents with full bellies head off for trick or treating around the neighborhood.

Here are some pictures of our night

Dan in full Pirate glory. The day FINALLY arrived.

Ready to take on the world.

Elias joined Danny's crew and choose to be a pirate for Halloween too!!

Little Ty was a very cute Spider for the 4 seconds that he actually kept his hat on.

The whole bunch. We even had a banana!

Grabbing candy out of a cooked bucket of noodles. Their favorite stop.

Swimming in candy!

Nacho Libre! Halloween was in the sixties . . . yes that is 6-0 here in Illinois. No jackets for trick-or-treating was a first in my memory.
