Danny's pockets

I really wish I were a real writer so that I could do comedic justice to what life is like with our Danny. Like when he took a doughnut out of the kitchen and hid it in his nightstand drawer.

Since the time Danny could walk he used his pockets. We would always smile when we would see this little 1 and 1/2 year old toddling around with both of his hands in his pant pockets. He was like a little mini teenager.

His preschool teacher even told me that the other day at school he pulled a wet apple core out of his pocket.

He is our money grabber. Loose a quarter and most likely Dan has found it and popped it into his pocket. He has been stuck on this idea that a quarter equals a gumball at the supermarket. In fact our last trip to the grocery store he did just that. I was checking out and suddenly Danny appears by my side with a mouth full. "I bought a gumball!", he says triumphantly. Dumbfounded I asked where he got the money. "From my pocket!", he states. I should have known.

So I am sharing with you what came out of the pants he wore on Saturday.

I wasn't joking about the money hoarding. At least for now it is just change!
