How does your garden grow

Last spring Brooke planted several watermelon seeds along the side of our house. We were told that Arizona's heat is perfect for growing melons and that we should have watermelon by July.

Brooke tended to her little patch of hope. She watered and waited. Soon plants began to grow. Many of them. They spread like crazy. It was difficult to walk around them. Blossoms appeared. But no watermelon. Brooke was discouraged. Her mind took her onto other things. The months passed. No melon. I should have pulled the plants out once we realized that prime growing season had passed. Fall was coming. But I was lazy and never did. It is now November 10th and guess what we spotted in our forgotten watermelon patch -a little watermelon!!

Wow that watermelon is impressive! and Danny's pockets-that is so GREAT! Halloween costumes looked wonderful & Ty's toilet adventures-hilarious!
So yes we definitely should have the kids play sometime. We are no further in our house hunting then we were before, but we will have to figure it all soon before we have this baby! I'll have tim look up that house next to you on the MLS. Ya never know! Hopefully we'll be back that direction.
