How do you know that fall is in the air when you live in Arizona? It is still 102 degrees today so the obvious signs- crisp mornings, sweaters, leaves changing, a craving for hot chocolate...those signs do not hit until the first week in December. But football frienzy is definitely the same. Football reigns supreme in our home right now. I even got pegged in the side of the head by one of Elias's stray throws yesterday. No not out in the yard, in the kitchen! It only took a moment of worried expression on both Whit and Elias's faces before it was back to Game On! This year football season has topped all because this year they have got the tickets-pack ten tickets! Somewhat crummy seats but none the less seats in the ASU stadium with hours surrounded by crowds, bands, scoreboards, and most importantly Eric, Jason and Ty, Jackson, Ryan and sometimes even Elias. They are saving a seat for you Devon. Go Sun Devils!

what a cute picture! I still can't get over how grown up Elias looks. I still remember when he was a chubby little baby. I did tell kate when she came to omaha...This Fall is the season that Arizonians are jealous of omaha! ha!
I love the picture of brooke and her tea set. so cute!
we miss you guys, but can't wait to see you soon.
and don't worry...we are getting our fair share of football here in omaha via TV (i have a love/hate relationship)
I sat reading your blog...enjoying the stories and the music. So relaxing. Danny's Jack baby is very striking in it's vest....we need to get Brooke and Darby together for some craft time(they could spend hours)... What sweet kids...I am so glad you are all enjoying Arizona. Is the heat too much? Or is it a small price to pay for the sunshine and beautiful winters?
I am gearing up for January and February around here...aagghhh. The harvest is coming in...colors changing...hot and cold days....first frost.
we miss you guys!
