A package full of love

Last week there was a package at our doorstep. It was from Papa and Grandma Kathy. Inside were birthday gifts for EJ. There was also a little gift for Brooke. A tea set that she could paint all herself. A perfect gift for my child that can sit at the table and paint and color for hours. It was such a suprise and so unexpected that she talked about it all weekend. Why the gift? Early this morning Brooke had a minor surgery done and so we spent the morning in the hospital. When she opened the gift a few days ago Whit told her that after her surgery she could come home and paint her tea set. So today as we were escorted back to see Brooke in recovery. she was a little dazed and confused and a light shade of green at moments but all she wanted to do was go so she could go home and paint her tea set! Thank you Papa and Grandma Kathy.

we found a picture of the cousins and james asked who brooke was and i told him that's his cousin brooke. he got a big smile on his face and said, "mom, i LOVE brooke." jamesy was sitting on my lap while i was looking at your blog and we came across the pictures of brooke and i asked james who she was. he said with a big grin, "that's brooke. mom, i love her."

i have to tell you before i forget that i pull up your blog when i edit photos because i love your music! you need to put some more of your favorites on your blog, so you can be my personal DJ! you are too kind to me laura, thank you for your sweet comments. i am working hard, learning as much as i can, you could say i am obsessed, and i have offically found my passion. it is exciting to have something that is just for me. i am sure it is the same with your beautiful art. i would LOVE to come down to AZ to take pictures of your beautiful family, honestly i don't know if you were serious or not, but i think it would be a blast. we should seriously talk about it! i would for sure get myself down there, and i would probably bring braydon, he would just have soo much fun with your kids. i have to tell you though, i am an infant when it comes to photography! anyways, we can talk more about it if you were serious, and well if your weren't then maybe we can just come down and play play play!! love shannon
