School Days
Every year on the first day of school I would wake to my Mother singing "School Days". When I became a mother of school aged children I found myself repeating the same song -almost without thinking- to my kids. The song isn't long and it rhymes and so maybe that is why I remember it. Or maybe it is the feeling that I had when I would wake to my mothers voice. That excited anticipation of a new teacher, new classroom, possibly new friends, a new school year. Those are happy memories. And that song made that moment memorable. A tradition. And now it is a tradition in my family too.
While Brooke and Elias are at school, I get to spend time with these two likeable characters. This is their first day of school activity. Playing cars in a pool floaty.
I had to include a giggle session from this day as well. I could watch this video over and over. I hope I remember these giggles when I no longer have little ones that sound this way. Delightful.
