The cool mountian air

We are blessed with Uncle Eric and Aunt Donna. We love them for so many reasons and one of those is allowing us to escape the Phoenix heat and join them at their beautiful mountain home in Flagstaff. Weekends there are spent enjoying the sights and smells of the pine trees, the cool air, rides through the neighborhood in the golf cart and on our bikes, fishing at the lake, and really great cousin time. We went into town (which is a really groovy college, hippie town) and hung out in the square eating ice cream and listening to a very talented blue grass band. Then the rhythm of the night took over and all the kids just had to move with the music. It was fun to watch them so uninhibited and caught in the moment.

It was a night to remember until Ty tried to join the band then drank out of a dog bowl...now how could we forget it.Just how rewarding is it to fish at these little lakes? Ty was dragging a fishing pole through the water out of bordems sake and caught his first fish. This picture cracks me up. What a little munchkin.

Oh and a plug out to the dominating Church family team who took first place at the basketball tournament. Those poor contenders. They had no idea what they were in for when they signed up.
