Good Night Wishes

After teeth are brushed, stories read, prayers said and Brooke is tucked snugly in bed, she doesn't let you slip out the door until all of her good night wishes have been said. These little sentiments have grown and changed over the years but this is the gist of them..."Good night Mom, I hope you sleep well, I hope the baby sleeps well, I love you, kocham cie,
dobra noc(just a little Polish), see you when the sun comes up.
Regretfully, there have been moments when the excitement of getting the last little person to bed or the rush to get somewhere when I have hurried her through this little strand of accolades or wished for just a mere good night. A couple of weeks ago there were about three nights in a row where she did not say them to me. Suddenly my heart ached for those words even though I knew the day would come when just "Goodnight" would be all she would want to say to me. But to my happiness she says them once again. Small words with big meaning from my sweet Brooke.

I love hearing her good night wishes too. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with your brother. I"m glad Danny has decided to eat a vegetable or two! Next time you go to the zoo Wyatt would love to go. We have only been twice and we need to go before it gets blazing hot!
