There have been several times in stores where Brooke will see a pair of bright, adorable rain boots with cute little faces smiling up at her and she will beg and plead for them. I quietly remind her of our situation you know the living in the desert part, no rain, no need for rain boots. This news is always a huge let down for her. She waves goodbye to the smiling boots and on we go with me wondering why in the world we Arizonians are tortured with rain apparel for sale. All it does is make my children feel like living in Arizona and getting at least 355 days of Sunshine a year is a real rip off. But those puddle jumping days finally came where those boots would have been a real treasure. I couldn't keep them indoors. The feeling of warm summer rain and the sound of it as it finds it's way to the earth is a true life pleasure.

Come to England and that is all they will get! They will think they are in heaven over here! We are in such opposite climates it isn't even funny! My kids get crazy over the sunshine here. They yell through the house, "The sun is shining! The sun is shining!" It is hilarious but really depressing.
I guess I should add sunscreen over here is like rain apparel over there, why?!
I love it. Doesn't it make you miss Oregon? My kids didn't understand how they could possibly be excited for rain. Anyways sorry to tell you but. Tag your it. I got tagged so sorry I am passing it on.
