And so this is Christmas...


Christmas spirit to me is the magical glow of a Christmas tree adorned by ornaments that say something of the life of those that enjoy it.

 
Christmas to me was watching Elias play in his first piano recital. Christmas songs that he had prepared so well.

 
Christmas spirit to me is deciding rather spontaniously that 6 years is too long to be away from Utah for the holidays. Here we are on our drive there. The anticipation and excited preparation that went into getting ready for our trip through the snow to Grandma and Grandpa's houses will be such a great memory.

OIH, I love your Christmas vacation pictures and activities. You are a nice set of Elves and Santas.

We are going to Utah next year....hope to do some of the same things.

We went private because we had a post left on Trevor's blog by an obvious predator type man. It really scared us. He lives about 70 miles away.

We have taken down our Facebook accounts too. We live in such a small town....if someone wanted to find us they would.

I was sad to go private because I knew I would lose contact with some friends...but...we weren't safe anymore.
